Children's Church

With almost 150 young people in the church, children are a high priority for us. Jesus welcomed, valued and encouraged children and we aim to do the same. Our Children’s Worker Clair Hamilton oversees this area of church life.

Mid-week, Clair runs fortnightly small groups for children and we also run three toddler groups (IMPs) and a Friday night youth club called Albert Place for children in years 5-7.

On Sunday mornings, children spend the first part of the service in the main hall before enjoying activities in age-specific groups. Our children’s team aim to encourage each child to relate to and find out about God for themselves. Activities are varied, fun and creative. We have six children’s groups and all group leaders are CRB checked:

  • Pebbles, 0 - 2 years
  • Starfish, 3 years - reception
  • Treasure Seekers, Years 1 - 2
  • Wave Makers, Years 3 - 5
  • Rock Steady, Years 6 - 7
  • Devotion, Years 8+

Albert’s Place

Video evenings, football, craft activities, drumming nights, trips out…. just part of the varied programme of events at Albert's Place, our youth group for those in Years 5-7. Held at 7-9pm on Fridays during term-time, the group meets at The Community Church building in Westbury. poulsomsatblueyonder [dot] co [dot] uk (subject: Website%20Enquiry) (Email Chris Poulsom) for more information.
